Tag - Chase Sequence

Concept

My group's concept for this project was very simple and straightforward. We wanted to create a simple tag sequence between two people that would end with one of them tripping and falling in defeat.

Filming

For the first time since I've been in the video rotation, I actually didn't miss filming day. Well, I missed the first one. But on the second day I got to help with multiple shots. It was fun working with the tripod, but we kept putting the iPad on backwards, making it pretty awkward to try and pan. We made a pretty large continuity mistake, as one of us forgot to wear the same outfit.

Editing

For this project editing went over very smoothly and didn't take me long at al. I think my group took really good shots that took little adjustment. And when it came to trimming and arranging, it was pretty clear how to place everything. Also this time I didn't have to stress to much about music placement, I found a pretty fitting piece on bensound.com

Things I Would Do the Same

-Music: I enjoyed the music I picked out and I think it cut out more naturally at the end than the others that I have previously used.

-Cuts: In the scene where she trips over the backpack I think the three clips flow really well.

Things I Would Do Differently

-Continuity: This wasn't really in my control, but my group had inconsistencies with outfits and lighting.
